The old PeopleMover at Disneyland in Anaheim, CA was from July 2, 1967 to August 21, 1995. Then it was replaced by the ill-fated Rocket Rods from May 22, 1998 to September 25, 2000 before it becomes blank.

Starting around 2019-2020 in addition to Star Wars Land, in the same spot as opposed to the old PeopleMover & Rocket Rods, it could be the New PeopleMover, it could be Boxcar Tour or it could be a new ride with normal speed that is more comfortable than ever before.

It saddens me to give this review but I feel obligated to. I am somewhat of a Disney and Disneyland expert - from childhood to young adulthood with our own children we used to visit the park once to twice a month from Bakersfield - in those days this was not an extravagant expense. Those that are younger than 30-35 today will never know how magical the park was in those days. I have watched a continuous decline through the years but quit frequenting the park as we once did when we were literally priced out by the expense. But more than that, the service that they prided themselves on is largely gone - so much so that I even filed a complaint at customer relations today.
I had planned on taking the grandkids on favorite Fantasyland rides - that was the highlight of the trip to me. Their time in the park is extremely limited given the security practices now in place that delay entry and we honor their 1-4 nap times and 8-8:30 bedtimes which with transit in and out of the park doesn't leave much time for rides at all. My historical knowledge as to what was efficient to compensate for this failed me as times have changed. I used to leverage parade times to hit these rides with 5-10 minute waits rather than 45-60 minutes. Little did I know they now shutdown all of Fantasyland an hour before the parade owing to liabilities over the later fireworks show. I can accept my lack of current knowledge but I nearly tripped over the trash can that a cast member threw in our path as we were trying to get in line. I explained this was our only chance for the grandkids to see this - at $1400 to get into the park with the family there would be no do overs. We explained it was a special occasion - he didn't care so we had to just send the grandkids away back to their hotel room - that experience I wanted to share with them as I did with my grandfather gone forever. Ironically, the fireworks show was cancelled.
Earlier in the day, we tried to go to one of our favorite restaurants and was told reservations only. I tried to delay lunch by an hour and a half by making reservations but in the minute it took me to confirm that with the family they said the wait would now be 4 hours. At that point we went on line with a reservation application, came back in 5 minutes and was seated by the people that refused to let us in - ridiculous!
Given the outrageous prices, character buffets that were once a staple now costing $45 per person and generally being treated like cattle by uncaring cast members, and many other changes, I can no longer highly recommend this park. It breaks my heart to see what this place has become and I am so sorry that those who are younger than say 30-35 will never know or experience the magic that was there in times past. ????
Woo hoo so excited. Today is the day. We are waiting with anticipation for our flight to LA.

The exhibit is a salute to Disney’s most memorable marauders, from “Peter Pan”’s Captain Hook to Pirates of the Caribbean’s Captain Jack Sparrow.

Can you please build/make children's SHADESD PLAYGROUND'S in both parks DCA and Disneyland, for ages 2years old and up to like 7 years old or so.

Slides, swings, little tunnels, mazes, with cushiony padded floors for safety if children fall and completely shaded with a big canopy covering the whole playgrounds, for protection against the sun especially when its really hot, we don't want our kids getting skin cancer.
I take my 3 year old daughter to Disneyland but she looks for a playground and there is none. That would be so great if you could make one! Thanks Disneyland hope you take my suggestion to heart.
Recently, Keith Powers from Freeform’s all-new series, Famous In Love, and Keegan Allen from Pretty Little Liars visited the Disneyland Resort. It was safe to say that these “Pretty Famous” guys had a magical day at both parks!
